It's been 6 months since our first workshop and we're extremely proud of all of our tutors and the things our students have achieved. Here's a look at some of them:

Some of our students and their achievements
Our intention, when setting up Stoke Bridge Workshops, was to offer courses by professional tutors in arts and design-led craft that would allow our participants to learn something that they could take away and perfect. We know there are lots of other places offering hobby or taster courses, great for those wanting to have a lovely morning or afternoon with friends making something to take home with them. Our niche is to provide workshops that you can genuinely build on. Our tutors will send you off with all the practical experience and knowledge on tools, materials and equipment needed to move on and keep learning.
For this reason, our workshops are not the cheapest on the block; but we know, from the feedback that we've had from students so far, that they are absolutely value for money. For the skills that you learn and the knowledge that you leave with, our fees allow us to bring you tutors that are the best in their field.
Excitingly, we've got a few great examples of students that have carried on with their newly-acquired skill:
Several of our stained glass students have gone on to make panels for their own homes.
So, if you're serious about learning something new, we'll soon have our new programme ready, full of workshops up until the end of the year. Nip back to the website as we add them and, when new leaflets are ready, we'll let you know. We've got some new and exciting workshops as well as repeats of arts, crafts and skills that we've had oversubscribed previously.
Don't forget, our next workshop, hosted by Laura Beardsell-Moore and Deborah Burrow is a whole weekend where you can Unleash Your Creativity on 14/15th September. Learn to use either oils or acrylics with these two incredibly talented, professional artists. Book your place here
We've lots going on and we look forward to meeting you all soon
Danielle and Ian
