And we're off...

We're super excited that we've held our first real live workshop and it was a massive success! Five guests got to grips with cutting glass and decorating their flowers - just look at the amazing work:

And here are the end results (we're massively proud!)

Now that we've got a workshop under our belt, we're hugely confident that all of our other workshops can go ahead - we've got visors for everyone, and hand sanitiser; all workshops will be for a maximum of 5 visitors for the time being. On that note, onto the really exciting stuff - here's news of what's coming up:

It's him off the telly!

We're enormously thrilled to have Henry Moore, the amazing potter of the Great Pottery Throwdown fame (aka the Pot Punk), holding his first workshop with us.

Held over 2 weekend mornings, workshops will consist of throwing and decorating. There will then be an optional 3rd date, in the evening, for you to glaze your own creations.

Tomorrow we'll be uploading the workshop to our website and we'll be announcing the dates on social media. Eyes peeled as there are just 4 places on this one.

Please don't panic if you don't get on, Henry's promised that this is just the first - there will be further workshop dates announced shortly.

Sign of the times

Other new dates to be announced this week will be with Wayne Tanswell, master Signwriter.

Wayne's held several workshops with us previously and they've always proved incredibly popular. Students from Wayne's classes have gone on to do signwriting projects of their own and we've seen the evidence!

Look out for signwriting dates - all to be added to the website this week!

Sure to be popular...

As her workshops always are, Andrea Wright has given us a new date for a stacking rings workshop.

As with all other workshops at the moment, the maximum number of visitors will be 5 and you'll take home a stack of 3 silver rings made by your very own hands!

Andrea's also bringing us a new hoop earring making workshop so keep a look out for this one too.

As if that's not enough

We've still got places on our stained glass weekend workshop for beginners with our very own Danielle Hopkinson of The Stained Glass Studio, and also our drum lampshade making class with Annie Debrick of Rockafella Industries.

Get booking - we'd love to see you!

Phew - such a lot going on - it feels massively good to be back. We really are over the moon to be able to welcome you all into our creative space (at last!) - it's been a long time coming but we wanted to ensure that you'd all be safe.

Any questions, please do get in touch. Meantime, keep following us on social media and watch the website for details of all the fabulous workshops coming up

See you all soon!
